Luxuriate in the Bath

OK. It was just on Monday, a scant two days ago, that I wrote a bit on the stabilizing of the size of the American home. Well don’t you know, now I have additional information! According to the National Association of Homebuilders, homes have been shrinking (which we knew) from a national average of 2500 square feet in 2007 to 2380 square feet in 2010. Although they are seen to be stabilizing at the moment, the NAHB believes that the shrinking trend will continue, and will land somewhere around an average of 2150 square feet by 2013.

I found the above information in an article about luxury bathrooms (just click HERE to read it). The article talks about how Americans aspire to good health and how that is reflected in luxury bath design in products such as integrated bidet systems and chromatherapy.

And I don’t think we’ve mentioned it yet, but two years in a row now we have won a Minnesota Chapter NKBA award for bathroom designs! Sparrow and Stoll, helping people achieve good health all over the Twin Cities. Maybe that’s our new tagline?!?
