A few other things to watch for, not in the kitchen. Notice the coffee table in the living room – a great example of the “industrial” style that’s becoming very prevalent. Also the red washer and dryer in the mudroom. Not that red is THE trendy color, but it’s becoming more and more desirable to have colored laundry appliances and to show off your laundry room. (I don’t know about you, but I don’t even like the Culligan man poking around my linty laundry room… which is the mechanical room, so why would I show that off?)

Only one thing bugged me about this kitchen – note the crazy big turnings on either side of the range – can you imagine cleaning around those things? But then again, maybe these people don’t cook, or maybe they’re just not messy cooks like me.
